Our Warranty Policy
Moon Technologies offers a retail parts and labor warranty for all sold products (ebook readers) against defects in material and craftsmanship. The warranty is for one-year only from the date of original purchase and as shown on the customer's receipt. The customer is responsible for one-way shipping and insurance fees. If you would like to send your device to us, 1. Please first create a "Return Request" by logging to your Moon Tech account and follow the 'Orders' link in the 'My account' side box (alternatively, you can click the "Return requests" link under "My account" side box at the right-side of the home-page www.moon-tech.com). There is the 'Registration of the return' link above each order page. Please follow this link to register your return, specify the reason for the return (repair or replace) and provide your comments. 2. Contact us for an RMA (Returned Merchandize Authorization) number via email at sales@moon-tech.com and obtain a confirmation that you can send the product back to us. 3. The user must return the product via a tracking-enable shipping service. Proof of shipping must be provided through a tracking number sent to us via email at sales@moon-tech.com. After we receive your package, Moon Technologies will, at its option, either repair or replace the product at no charge. This warranty doesn't extend to nor it covers damages caused to the product(s) by accident, abuse, misuse or as a result of service by any other party. Except for the limited warranty above, all our products are provided on an "as is" basis, without any other warranties of conditions, express or implied, including, but not limited to, warranties of merchantable quality. *NOTE: Our customers are highly encouraged to save/backup their media (e.g., MP3) and eBook files on their computers before sending the ebook reader to us for repair. We will not be responsible for lost files.
